New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): The Finance Minister of India on Thursday launched a micro credit scheme to provide loans at low interest rates to the slum dwellers. The scheme is supported by a slew of state-run banks and Life Insurance Corporation of India in collaboration with an NGO, ‘Asha’. P Chidambaram along with Sheila Dikshit initiated the pilot scheme in a South Delhi locality.
